"A Grateful Heart" at
Weston Park Museum
Sheffield
I was delighted to have one of my paintings selected to be a part of Weston Park Museum's "Caribbean Footsteps" exhibition in Sheffield.
The portrait was part of a reflective series I did between 2019-23 celebrating resilience, and self-discovery. It's title "A Grateful Heart" shows the model (my daughter-in-law) as a symbol of strength, perseverance, sacrifice and triumph.
The painting now on loan to the museum until June 2026 so please pop in to see the original if you're in the Sheffield area!
SHEFFIELD'S ART IN THE GARDENS September '25
My favourite event on the Sheffield Art calendar has to be Art in the Gardens! Known as the North's largest art fair, the 2025 instalment didn't disappoint!
From the buzzing preview night right through to the last day, I was thrilled to meet friends old and new all sharing a love of art.
Thank you for stopping by to say hello and to the collectors from near and far, it's a privilege to have my paintings in your homes.
A special thanks to my family and friends who were on hand to lend much appreciated support.
See you all again in September 2026!

PAPAL AUDIENCE & PAINTING PRESENTATION
On October 18th, 2023 I was honoured to have an audience with the late Pope Francis at St. Peter's Square, Vatican City, Rome. I was there at the invitation of the Most Rev Robert Rivas O.P. Archbishop Emeritus of Castries, St. Lucia.
The retired Archbishop wrote a book of poetry, songs and reflections all dedicated to Pope Francis called "The Face of a Listening Church".
I was commissioned to create a painting that was used as the cover art for the publication. His Grace and I presented both the book and the painting in person to the late Pope Francis that day.
