"A Grateful Heart" at
Weston Park Museum
Sheffield
I was delighted to have one of my paintings selected to be a part of Weston Park Museum's "Caribbean Footsteps" exhibition in Sheffield.
The portrait was part of a reflective series I did between 2019-23 celebrating resilience, and self-discovery. It's title "A Grateful Heart" shows the model (my daughter-in-law) as a symbol of strength, perseverance, sacrifice and triumph.
The painting now on loan to the museum until May 2027 so please pop in to see the original if you're in the Sheffield area!

FRIENDS EXHIBITION

I was thrilled to have my painting "Head to the Sky" chosen to be exhibited in the RBSA's annual Friends Exhibiton!
Despite the frigid January temperatures the preview night was buzzing and I was happy to meet so many new artists and art lovers alike, most of whom make Birmingham their home.
Thank you RBSA team for making my artistic debut in your exciting city such a memorable one!
PAPAL AUDIENCE & PAINTING PRESENTATION
On October 18th, 2023 I was honoured to have an audience with the late Pope Francis at St. Peter's Square, Vatican City, Rome. I was there at the invitation of the Most Rev Robert Rivas O.P. Archbishop Emeritus of Castries, St. Lucia.
The retired Archbishop wrote a book of poetry, songs and reflections all dedicated to Pope Francis called "The Face of a Listening Church".
I was commissioned to create a painting that was used as the cover art for the publication. His Grace and I presented both the book and the painting in person to the late Pope Francis that day.
