On October 18th, 2023 I was honoured to have an audience with His Holiness Pope Francis at St. Peter's Square, Vatican City, Rome. I was there at the invitation of the Most Rev Robert Rivas O.P. Archbishop Emeritus of Castries, St. Lucia.

 

The retired Archbishop wrote a book of poetry, songs and reflections all dedicated to Pope Francis called "The Face of a Listening Church". I was commissioned to create a painting that would be used as the cover art for the publication. His Grace and I presented both the book and the painting in person to Pope Francis that day.
